The force of colours

Colour acts upon our energy systems by its vibrations, impacting both our physical and emotional wellbeing. By using the correct colours, we can change our negative aspects into positive ones, be healthier, and gain a higher level of consciousness. Colourful therapy assists to balance the frequencies of malfunctioning cells, and to get over to our natural state of radiant well-being.

One of the delights of colour is its practicability, a tool anyone can apply cheaply with little direction and zero danger - the apply of a natural element in a practical way.

Colour can be tremendously helpful not only therapeutically, but also in such areas as tarot reading, distance healing, crystal-gazing, clairvoyance, mirror-gazing, meditation, etc.

The force of colours

1. Red : passion

Red symbolizes love and procreation, but it is as well connected with violence and death. Red is connected with the root chakra, the first chakra, at the base of the backbone, which is the energy centre. It is the generator of our strength, courage, leadership, energy and will. You feel centered, grounded, healthy, abundant and energetic when you have just enough red.

2. Orange : emotions

Buddhists have always assorted orange as a symbolic representation of wisdom, intuition, spontaneity, and living in the present moment. The second chakra, the sacral chakra, is established in the center of abdomen, above the root chakra and below the solar plexus chakra (which is yellow) A perfectly well-balanced orange chakra causes you friendly, caring, creative, intuitive, optimistic and connected to your feelings.

3.Yellow : intellect

Yellow and gold have been connected with the divine symbols of creation since time immemorial. The yellow chakra, the solar plexus which is the third chakra, is the place of the intellect and personal power.

4. Green : regeneration

Since ancient days, green has been symbolized as the soul’s regeneration. The heart chakra, the fourth chakra, is the green energy chakra settled in the centre of the chest near the heart, and related to the thymus. Green colour also has the ability to calm down the nervous system.

5. Blue : communication

All Hindus, Buddhists, native American and Chinese associate blue with the heavens. The throat chakra, the fifth centre of energy with is blue electromagnetic vibrations, is the centre of communication, self expression, knowledge and wisdom.

6. Violet : spiritualism

According to Christian tradition, purple robes interpreted repentance, penance, sermon and Christ’s blood. The third-eye chakra, the sixth chakra, emits violet/purple energy. This chakra is placed between the eyebrows, and is connected to the pituitary gland. This energy centre admits us to be intuitive, as it is the seat of knowledge and understanding. It holds the energies between the physical and the spiritual.

7. White : divinations

The Christians consider white to denote purity, sainthood and the Holy Spirit. The crown chakra is the seventh chakra which has white electromagnetical waves. This energy chakra, located at the top of the head, is the centre our our spiritual life. With this chakra open, we are one with the universal life force.
